Bunion Removal: A New Minimally Invasive Procedure Through the Eyes of an Orthopedic Surgeon and a Patient.

Hallux valgus, commonly known as bunions, is an acquired foot deformity most often caused by a combination of inappropriate footwear and a congenital skeletal predisposition.

A new advancement in surgical treatment is presented by doc. MUDr. Rastislav Hromádka, Ph.D., an orthopedic surgeon from the 1st Orthopaedic Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and Motol University Hospital, as well as the Head of Orthopedics and Surgery at Canadian Medical.
