The team of the Society of Aesthetic Foot Surgery s.r.o.
Standard foot surgery methods do not always produce satisfactory results, which led me to begin using minimally invasive surgical techniques several years ago. These procedures are performed without conventional surgical wounds, relying instead on small skin punctures. During surgery, I monitor the bones and joints on the screen of an X-ray machine rather than seeing them directly.
This approach is extremely gentle for patients, resulting in less postoperative pain and faster recovery. I most commonly treat conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, and arthritic joints using these methods. Postoperative care focuses on toe taping instead of cast fixation and includes physiotherapy to promote healing and accelerate recovery.
For years, I have sought surgical techniques that deliver optimal functional results, fast postoperative recovery, and excellent aesthetic outcomes. These high standards are met by modern minimally invasive techniques, which I perform as one of the few orthopaedic surgeons in the country. I continually refine these methods to align with the demanding criteria of aesthetic medicine.
I perform procedures through punctures or minor millimeter-sized surgical wounds, adhering to aesthetic surgery principles. My approach minimizes soft tissue damage and involves intradermal sutures, which leave almost invisible scars.
These techniques not only correct bunions but also restore the transverse arch of the foot, providing significant pain relief. They reduce pressure on the forefoot, preventing repetitive blisters on the ball of the foot, the inner side of the big toe, and between the toes. Compared to conventional methods, recovery time is significantly shortened, from days to weeks.
