Mini Invasive Correction of Bunions and Toe Deformities on Both Feet – June 2023 and February 2024

A 62-year-old patient came to us to correct a deformity of the big toe and toes on her left foot. In 2010, she underwent foot surgery at another facility to correct the deformity and relieve pain in her left foot. The surgery was performed using a standard open surgical technique, but there was no optimal improvement in the function and shape of the foot. The deformity worsened and the foot pain persisted. The patient was therefore indicated for a mini-invasive correction of the deformity of the big toe and toes on our behalf. The surgery was performed in June 2023.

The patient was very satisfied with the results of the surgery on her left foo and so decided to have the bunion correction done on her right foot as well.
